50 Shades of grey’ movie trailer to be released sooner than expected as filming comes to an end?

First, it was the uncertain star cast and then it was the release date and now finally, when the shooting of the film adaptation of Erica James’ racy novel “Fifty Shades of Grey” has come close to wrapping up, the fans are hopeful that a trailer will be released to suffice their growing eagerness. We have been kept updated about the scenes (outdoor, of course) which the cast and crew have been shooting in Vancouver and now when the producer of the film, Dana Brunetti has announced through Facebook that this the last week of shooting “Fifty Shades...” and the shoot will be wrapped up by the 23^rd of February 2014, the fans are keeping their fingers crossed to watch the trailer of the racy adaptation of an equally racy novel.

With the shooting almost on the verge of wrapping up, we can also be hopeful that there will be no further delay, in releasing the film, than the already scheduled 13^th of February 2015. Though almost a year is still left to go and the fans and the followers of the trilogy have to wait with bated breath, only a trailer can make this wait a little more bearable. For the fans of this money spinning novel, the wait to see the movie on the big screen started with the very announcement that the characters of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele will make progress from the pages of the book to the screen.

But, the wait just seemed to get longer with the unexplained delays in selecting the cast and then starting the shooting. Among many worthy contenders for the role of the BDSM loving self made billionaire, Christian Grey, British television actor, Charlie Hunnam was selected. But no sooner had he been selected than the rumours started floating around about how inappropriate he is as the dark and brooding character he is set to play onscreen. Among such speculation regarding the future of the venture, like a bolt from the blue it was revealed that Hunnam has bid adieu to “Fifty Shades...” citing his commitment to his long running television show, “Sons of Anarchy”, thus giving the people who sneered him another chance to enjoy.

After a lot of speculation again, Irish television actor and former Calvin Klein model, Jamie Dornan was finally selected to slip into (and out of, too,) the crisp shirts and fitted suits of Christian Grey. It was due to the sudden exit of Charlie Hunnam that the release of the film was pushed back and instead of the previously proposed release date of 1^st August 2014, it has been moved back to 13^th February 2015. With only a year left for the release, it is only natural that the fans have started clamouring for a trailer, to suffice them, momentarily, that is. Everything to Know about Fifty Shades of Grey Movie shooting Scenes

When it comes to the “Fifty shades movie” franchise, the excitement just keeps getting better with each passing day and if the shooting scenes of the movie are to be considered, then we already have a handful of scenes which have sparked off interest and excitement in our hearts, from the very first time they surfaced. The first scene which caught our attention was definitely the scene and like all the other scenes which have followed, this scene too carried an undercurrent of tension between the lead characters of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, played by Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

While shooting for the scene, Dakota could be seen wearing a red dress with a camel coloured belted trench coat, and her hunk of a co-star, was seen wearing a crisp shirt and suit. There was also a ‘cafe scene’, which was shot inside a cafe, outside the offices of the fictional Grey Enterprises. In the ‘cafe scene’ too, the pair could be seen sitting opposite each other and talking, and just to get the right expression from the actors, the director, Sam Taylor-Johnson did not shy away from ordering 44 cups of lattes. The scene, where the self made billionaire presents a red Audi A3 to his newest partner, with whom he had exchanged non-disclosure agreements and a contract, is also worth mention here.

The Movie FiftyShades scene, Ana can be seen dressed in a gray dress and her dominant partner, Mr. Grey, as always, was in a customised suit. The scene unfolds in a romantic way with Jamie, as Christian Grey, leading Dakota (Ana) to her gift, while placing his hands firmly on her eyes. As she opens her eyes, she is surprised to find her gift, which she quickly renames ‘The Submissive Special’. The fact to be noted here is that Grey gifts this car as he thinks her old VW, called Wanda, is not safe enough. The little things that Grey starts noticing about Ana, fills us with the promise that their BDSM inspired relationship may be headed towards a more emotional destination.

Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan gets soaking wet on set in Vancouver

We all know that Jamie Dornan is hot and if you want proof, you just might want to take a look at the recent pictures from the shoot where Jamie Dornan, who is playing the role of self made billionaire entrepreneur Christian Grey, was seen jogging in the rain. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and Nike shoes and watching him jog in the rain in Vancouver, has given the female fans one more reason to rejoice and look forward to the Fifty shades of grey movie based on the novel of the same name written by British author Erica James who is also a producer of the film.

After battling controversies and uncertainties about the cast and the release of the film, the makers and the fans are happy to the point of being elated to see that the film will be released in February 2015, around Valentine’s Day. Though it cannot be billed as a classic love story, the relationship between Ana and Grey does have its points where it scores as a love story. Seeing the well endowed and sculpted Jamie Dornan jogging in the rain while fans and the crew look on happens to be just one such aspect of it. Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Shooting Back In Vancouver

Having started the filming of the movie adaptation of the steamy and racy Fifty Shades of Grey movie by Erica James in Vancouver, in November, the actors and the crew had to face a wrathful and vindictive weather when the polar vortex started affecting huge climatic changes in the USA and Canada. Forced by the fury of nature, the cast and crew if this Sam Taylor-Jonson directed movie had to take a break for two weeks. And since it was the holiday season, nobody complained. The author and one of the producers, Erica James, spent the holidays with her husband and two sons, while the lead pair of Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, who plays the roles of Ana and Christian in the movie, was also busy with their families.

Ana aka Dakota was reportedly seen spending time with her sisters and mother and also spent some alone time her real life Christian Grey, Jordan Masterson. Jamie Dornan became a first time father in December and his wife and he welcomed home their baby daughter. So, this break would have definitely given some family time to the Irish hunk, so that he could cuddle his newborn a little more. The other Grey, Mia Grey that is, who will be played by Rita Ora, was also seen partying with her friends in London, before she got called to Vancouver, to start her leg of the shoot. Now that the holidays are over and the weather gods are also in a better mood, the cast and the crew are back in Vancouver to continue with the shoot so that the already much delayed film, does not get delayed any further.

The film was earlier set to release in August 2014, which is considered a good time for the movies since it is spring and people are generally fond of going to the movies with their families this time of the year. Though we can’t really pitch “Fifty Shades....” as a family movie, some think that the now decided February 2015 release will be better for this love story of sorts. The film is scheduled to release on the 13^th of February 2015, just a day before Valentine’s. We can only hope that lovers and couples, who wish to draw inspiration from this movie to make their relationship as erotic, titillating and racy as the one Christian and Ana have must make a beeline for this movie. With their return to Vancouver, the stars have started shooting crucial scenes.

The latest additions in the list of crucial scenes shot by the cast include the scene where Grey presents Ana with a brand new red Audi car because he thinks that her old VW is not safe enough. A New Character in Fifty Shades of Grey as Mrs. Robinson

When E. L. James had written her BDSM themed erotic novel, ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, little had she known that it would sweep her fans off their feet and would attract Hollywood studios to make a cinematic adaptation out of it? But as history speaks for itself, it is widely anticipated that the movie would do as well as the novel. The novel has pushed major authors off the list of the highest earning authors and this year, E.L. James has emerged victorious in the top spot. The novel, though themed around BDSM, is essentially a love story between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

The ‘50 Shades’ movie is probably one of the most widely awaited movies of the year and unlike some other movies, it is already famous. Famous because of its constant cast changes and cast additions, the ‘50 Shades’ movie, is all set to have another addition to its star cast in the form of Katie Holmes. ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ offers a different dimension to the acting capabilities of Katie Holmes and although the character Elena Lincoln is as dark and manipulative as Christian, she is also essentially the femme fatale of the novel and the ‘50 Shades movie. The character in the novel, Mrs. Robinson is a natural blonde and is in her late 30s and early 40s; two of these components can be challenging for Katie Holmes, since she is not a natural blonde and is only 34 years old. But if the rumor mills and the grapevine is to be believed, she is going all out to make herself as close to the character as possible, even possibly suggesting that she might turn blonde to fit the bill.

The bitter divorce might have left the mother of one with a bad taste in the mouth but the ‘50 Shades’ movie, is touted to be her ticket back to mainstream Hollywood. And if her efforts are anything to go by, she will make a ravishing and a delicious Elena Lincoln as Mrs. Robinson.

Fifty Shades’ Screenwriter – Kelly Marcel

Another British part of the Fifty movie madness, is the screenwriter, Kelly Marcel. With British actor, Charlie Bad Boy Hunman playing Christian, Sam Taylor-Johnson is the British Director, it perhaps was only natural the movie would be mainly British.

The screenwriter is the person who brings the book to the big screen. So let’s take a look at how Kelly Marcel has planned her adaptation of the erotic film from the book to the big screen. Screen adaptations aren’t easy, books have to be edited down for screen purposes, and hence why many people state a film is never as good as the book.

The film is going to be rated NC-17 (UK – 18) for the movie’s material content. There’s no surprise there then, we never expected it to be anything less, but the burning question is, will the book remain loyal to its raunchy roots?

Kelly has been quoted as stating that the movie has been edited, no surprise there then, but what is the story?  Kelly has stated that the movie is “a modern love story with two complex characters and that’s what I am interested in”

Kelly has admitted some of the raunchier scenes have been edited down, but the storyline remains intact. She’s also stated that she has had to take top measure to keep the script secret as Fifty fans scrabble for information.

Marcel is no stranger to screenwriting. She is the co-creator of Steven Spielberg’s Terra Nova, a highly successful TV drama. She has been primarily involved with TV and film and is the co-director with Tom Hardy of The Bad Dog Theater Company. She is 39-years old and her rise to screenwriting came from her stage adaption of the 70s porn movie, “Debbie Does Dallas” (Grins)

Her older sister is a well-known TV actress in the UK and her father is a director.  Kelly has also been in front of the screen with small parts on British TV regular serial dramas.  She is also the screenwriter of the pending Saving Mr Banks film which takes a look at the popularity of Mary Poppins and stars Tom Hanks.

The hiring of Ms Marcel took considerable criticism from American Brett Easton Ellis who applied for the role and he took to Twitter to share his disappointment in October of last year. He made no bones of the fact that he was disappointed and in fact was pretty scathing about Marcel’s appointment. Dear oh dear.

The producers who were behind The Social Network have acclaimed Marcel’s skills as a scriptwriter and soon Easton-Ellis’s comments were buried under other tweets. We don’t think the uber-cool Ms Marcel’s feathers were too ruffled, she is a cool British woman who very much displayed her stiff upper lip throughout Easton-Ellis’s mini rant about his disappointment.

Kelly Marcel is responsible for getting this movie from book to screen, we think she will do a great job and this is going to be a massive part of her resume.

Rooney Mara As Anastasia Steele

While Rooney Mara’s looks are unconventional, we can definitely see something of Anastasia in her – she’s petite, pale, has dark hair and large blue eyes. She not a striking beauty like Emilia Clarke or Lucy Hale, but Anastasia Steele isn’t meant to be a head turner.

there candidates for the role include Nina Dobrev of the Vampire Diaries, Twilight actress Ashley Greene, Gilmore Girls’ Alexis Bledel, Game of Thrones Emilia Clarke and Pretty Little Liars Lucy Hale.

At the moment, both the studios and E.L. James are keeping silent about the casting of the movie, especially since the screenwriter, Kelly Marcel is still penning the script and Universal Studios and Focus Features want to find a director first. While the list for the male candidates is smoothly packaged into a choice of three: Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill, the list of female candidates is more volatile – with new names added on a daily basis. So whether Rooney Mara will managed to barge her way into the list of candidates remains to be seen, but one way or the other, Anastasia Steele is less predictable than Christian Grey in terms of casting.

Did he ever stand a chance? Against Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, or Ian Somerhalder we don’t think he ever stood a chance at winning the rights to this role as Christian Grey

“I would love the challenge,” he said, “I have not read the books, but what I know is that it is risqué, and to be honest, anything to shake up from the way I have been going would be good.”

When he was asked about his comfort with doing  scenes for the movie Fifty shades Crawford replied enthusiastically.

“I am only comfortable with these type of scenes!” he said, “The other ones are just too simple and boring for me. I actually think, whether it is a scene, or screaming at something to get something across. I think it is kind of attacked the same way, and you’re in the work mode, and you stay professional. It has never been awkward or intimidating.”

Perhaps E.L. James is against his part in the movie since he’s so anxious to play a part in an adaptation of a book he hasn’t even read. However, all of these rumors as just that, gossip and hearsay, so maybe E.L. James never said the above.

Fifty Shades of Grey Casting E.L. James I Have Some Ideas

The Fifty Shades of Grey movies have been pretty quiet on the news front in 2013 so far, but it looks like things are going to get shaken up pretty soon with Universal Studios announcing that the movie could very well be ready by the summer of 2014. And, not only just that, but it looks like E.L. James is beginning to open up a bit more on her own casting ideas.

It might be a while before prospective Christian Greys and Anastasia Steeles will get up in front of the camera for screen tests, but E.L. James has her own ideas, and while she’s still remaining cryptic about her choices, she has admitted that the cast won’t “be who people expect.”

At the moment, those who’ve made the hot list include Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill on the male side, with Emilia Clarke, Emma Watson, Mila Kunis and Alexis Bledel on the girls’ team.

Although, it’s some time until filming, E.L. James has already started to tease fans.

“I do have some ideas… but it may not be who people expect.”

So does that mean that the top fan favorites are off the list as far as E.L. James is concerned? Does that mean that hotly spoken about stars like Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer are unlikely to get the E.L. James seal of approval?

Matt Bomer Says No Offer Yet For The Movie Fifty Shades Of Grey

There may be another incentive behind Matt Bomer’s comments, since there is the possibility of a Magic Mike sequel, and Bomer might be rejoining Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Maganiello and Matthew McConaughey in his role as a male stripper.

“I think there are a lot of pieces that need to fall into place for it to actually happen, but it would be fun to get together with everybody again,” he commented on the possibility of a sequel, “We came from a band of brothers really, because we all knew we were entering into something that was really scary and out of our comfort zone for the most part and so every body just rose up and supported each other.”

It looks like Matt Bomer is continuing his busy schedule working on the third season of White Collar, where he portrays a con man the FBI have hired to help to solve white collar crimes so he can lower his prison sentence.

Looking at the photos of Matt Bomer, he matches the description of Christian Grey to a tee, and if he were picked he would be an excellent choice. However, it looks like the actor has a give or take attitude to the role. Ian Somerhalder on the other hand is desperate to play Christian Grey, which works in his favor.

Wanted Hot Actor To Play Christian Grey Henry Cavill

After his roles as Theseus in The Immortals Henry Cavill is quickly gaining the attention of Fans. With his movie Superman in Man of Steel and Rumors that the Fifty Shades team is meeting with his Agency it is no wonder that the Hot actor is being sought after.

The actor is the right age, only a couple of years older than Christian Grey’s character in the book. But, that’s not all that is going in favor of the Immortals star, he’s been nominated as the Breakout Star of 2013, but not just that, Dana Brunetti, the producer behind the Fifty Shades of Grey movies met up with CAA, the agency that represents Cavill. Are the auburn locks a sign that Henry is hinting at wanting the role?

Not only that, but the actor has been spotted wearing an easily recognizable grey tie that a certain Mr. Grey has worn on many an occasion. Is Henry Cavill just teasing us, or is he really being considered as Mr. Grey? Another interesting tidbit about the British actor is that he served as inspiration for Stephenie Meyer’s Edward Cullen, and the Twilight author was disappointed that by the time the Twilight films were made; Cavill was too old for the role of Edward.

Now, it’s common knowledge that E.L. James has based the character of Christian Grey on Edward Cullen, so it seems almost apt that Henry Cavill is cast in the part. He does have a long way to go to convince fans that he’d be ideal for the part over other favorites like Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer, but things are looking up favorably for the former “Unluckiest Man in Hollywood,” who had lost out to Daniel Craig as James Bond and Christian Bale as Batman. Who knows, perhaps Cavill will be Christian Grey?

Felicity Jones joins the Anastasia Steele candidates

As the days for casting the Fifty Shades of Grey movies draws closer, more and more names seem to get added to the list of Anastasia Steele candidates per day. The newest name to be added to the list is British beauty Felicity Jones.

While Felicity’s name has been mentioned before, it’s only recently she’s started to get some more recognition from fans of the books.

While we’re waiting for some actual news, fans have taken it upon themselves to create their very own trailers for the Fifty Shades of Grey movies and the newest actress to be used is Felicity Jones.

The actress is under the radar in the USA, but she’s quite well known in her home country, especially in her role as Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch and the sequel Weirdsister College.

Back in January, Felicity Jones was asked if she would play Anastasia Steele if the opportunity ever presented itself.

“It all depends on the film-maker and script, just like any job,” said Jones in an interview with Metro, “Anyway, I’ve heard there’s lots of campaigns by fans pushing other brunette actresses, but I guess I should thank this person who went to all that trouble.”

Forgotten Christian Greys

Matt Bomer, Ian Somerhalder and Henry Cavill are currently pretty much the top three main candidates to play Christian grey in The Movie Fifty Shades of Grey.

Thor hunk Chris Hemsworth is another who has been connected with the role, although his candidacy was more disputed among fans. We agree he’s hot but is he Christian Grey?

There have been many who felt that Michael Fassbender would have made the perfect Christian Grey in his prime. He’s a brilliant actor, with classic good looks and a sinister undertone, but unfortunately, the Irish-German actor who starred in Inglorious Basterds is getting a bit too old to play the part of Christian Grey in the upcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. We can’t forget hunk Alexander Skarsgard is known for his part as Eric Northman on the hit HBO series True Blood 

And, we mustn’t forget some of the more ridiculous options, like porn star James Deen who was very keen to take on the part of Christian Grey, and the rumor about Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’s connection to the movie.

While Robert Pattinson is a fan favorite, we are fairly confident the Twilight hunk won’t stand a chance, especially since E.L. James herself has boycotted him from getting cast. And, we all know if the author herself isn’t down with it, then it’s very unlikely to ever happen. Are there any other forgotten Grey’s you’d like to add to the list?

Matt Damon to star in 50 Shades of Grey Movie

Emma Watson has been linked with the film, especially after a hacker said that she had been cast as Anastasia Steele, but the Harry Potter star quickly denied all ties to the movie.

Charlize Theron’s name has also come up in the part of Elena, so we have got some big names being thrown about in connection to Fifty Shades of Grey.

Recently, a fan made trailer came out that featured Matt Damon, now I know many of you are probably spiting blood at the idea of 42-year-old Damon playing 27-year-old Christian Grey, but you can calm down now. It is highly unlikely that Matt Damon will be cast as Christian Grey. It’s much more likely he’ll be placed as the older brother Elliot Grey or even Christian Grey’s own bodyguard too. 

With a projected release of 2014 for the Fifty Shade of Grey movie, it looks like casting will be imminent in the next few months. Some actors like Stephen Amell have been dropping hints about being cast, but whether or not the studios are looking for casting before they’ve got a director is a debatable issue. 

So, while people are waiting in anticipation for the casting to take place, fans are making their own trailer. In this version with Matt Damon, Alexis Bledel was featured as Ana Steele and Matt Bomer as Christian Grey with Blake Lively as the bubbly, blonde roommate Kate Kavanagh.

“A reveal of the cast is currently planned for Comic-Con,” a source informed Hollywood Life. Perhaps we’ll find out who’ll get to play the saucy roles of Anastasia and Christian towards the end of July. If the studios plan to announce the official cast then, it looks like casting is currently underway.

In the lead for Christian Grey is the Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder, who has been a fan favorite ever since the movie rights for the Fifty Shades of Grey books were bought.  Another favorite is Robert Pattinson who has been on and off the list of candidates for some time. The Twilight star has been linked to the movie, then dismissed by E.L. James who said she didn’t want to see either Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart affiliated with the role, but recently he’s invited E.L. James to one of his parties.

Jennifer Lawrence has been a popular choice for Anastasia Steele, and it looks like she’s on top to get the part of the submissive college grad, but she is facing some tough competition from Game of Throne’s Emilia Clarke and Emma Watson, even though the latter has denied her involvement in the project. Just a month to go, and we’ll know more about who’ll be spanking who in the Fifty Shades movies!
